The past two days have definetly been lazy days for the whole family....and much needed ones for sure.
Thursday night was a somewhat scary night for mom. Blaine did pretty well with feeding, however, during the night he had two significant spit ups. Mommy was scared that he was throwing up. After checking his temperature, talking with daddy, and watching Blaine finally fall asleep, mommy felt better about the situation. Then on Friday night Blaine felt warm all night long and daddy became worried that Blaine was getting sick. After a few temperature checks and talking things over with mommy, daddy I think began to feel better. Mommy and daddy did decided that they'd definetly keep Blaine indoors for awhile and limit visitors.
Speaking of visitors, Friday was a pretty significant day....."Pops" (previously known as Pappaw Jr.) came to visit for the weekend!!! It was Blaine's first time meeting his Pops......and it appears Pops really enjoys holding Blaine (well until he cries that is) and Blaine enjoys for Pops to hold him. Pops has enjoyed telling Blaine secrets that mommy can't hear and just talking to Blaine. Tomorrow Pops will be leaving and not only will mommy and daddy be sad, but Blaine will be too. Hopefully it wont be too long before Pops can make another trip to see us.
