Texas trip...for dotmom conference & Noah's birthday

Last Thursday we left for Texas and 11 hours later we arrived

at Grandmother and Grandaddy's house.

Levi was so tired....

& was ready for snuggles.

After eating at our favorite place (Wings N More), we 

celebrated Daddy's birthday (a few days early)......

 with a Garmin watch,

 snuggles, 

 more snuggles and pictures, 

and a birthday song. 

 Or two. Or three. :)

 The boys really enjoyed reading a lot with everyone over the weekend.

On Friday morning, 

Rachel and I left for the Dotmom conference in Dallas.

 And we FINALLY remembered to get a picture as proof we were together:)

 On Friday night, I got a text with this picture.....

He and brother had an accident while rascaling (wrestling) with Grandaddy...

but after a bandaid and some loving, Scott said he was fine.

 Saturday morning, the boys went to see Ms. Loretta (our old neighbor) before

heading to Houston for Noah's birthday party.

The boys had a blast!!

(So thankful that Scott got some pictures)

 Rachel and I were having a great time at the dotmom conference being

encouraged and learning lots of things in our breakout sessions.

Our conference ended at 4:30 and prior to heading back, we met up

with Jordan for a quick supper at In-and-Out Burger

(which was so good).

 It was so great being with 2 of my best friends at the same time!!

And I was so glad that Rach and Jo finally got to meet:)

Sunday after church and lunch with Grandmother and Grandaddy, 

we went to see Brian for a few minutes

 And as always, the boys were being so goofy with Brian:)

Sunday night, the boys enjoyed reading and watching videos with

Grandmother and Grandaddy. 

Our trip was a short trip, but such a great one!

We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family in Texas.
