Today was just good for my soul

Today was just good for my soul.

Maleigh and Erin have been friends of mine for over 15 years.

And despite the time that has gone by and distance that has been between some of us

(and all of us at different times), when we get together my cup overflows.

The kids had a great time playing and swimming ALL DAY 

allowing us to have some great uninterrupted conversations.

I am so thankful for the memories we all share, the conversations we have,

the "realness" of who we are and are not when we are together.

The days of the 3 of us getting together only happen once a year (if we are "lucky") 

but it is so good for my soul!!

Today was such a blessing to my heart.

I'm thankful for friendships that remain after years and distance.

God is so good!
