Memorial Day weekend camping

Memorial Day weekend was the first weekend we were able to camp in our new camper!!

Our 'old' camper was totaled after a hail storm back in April. We were pretty bummed because we 

found our camper on Craigslist and got a super deal on it! We thought there was no way we were going to be able to find anything better for the price. BUT the Lord blessed us again....and we were able to get this beaut! It's a little bigger than our last camper, which is great since we've added a couple of members to our family since camping last year--Levi (& our dog, Mater)

 The boys were so excited but I think Scott and I were at least equally excited, if not more excited:)

We camped in Pickensville, AL and had a blast. Pops and Grammy were camping too and Mammaw & Pappaw came to eat and visit on Saturday night.

 Everyone enjoyed watermelon:)

The boys also enjoyed playing with the dogs, riding bikes, riding in the basket of Pops' bike and the playground that was across from our camper.

 And good outdoor cooked meals each day.

 We had a blast and REALLY enjoyed our new camper--except that the hot water heater wasn't working, but don't worry it only took one cold bath/shower to motivate us to have it fixed;)

 Thanks Pops for being an influence in us getting into camping with/for our boys!!

We are so glad we get to spend time as a family camping.
