We made a quick trip to Texas this weekend so Shannon could host a baby shower for Rachel. I (Scott) felt up to making the trip, although he did not do much because his back is still healing. We arrived Friday afternoon and ran a few errands before Grandmother was off work. We went to dinner Friday night with Grandmother and Granddaddy at Polly's Cocina.
Friday night Grandmother had some quality time loving on both boys.
We also went to visit Tracy and Levi. Levi was born the week after we moved. Levi is doing great, looks so handsome, and his hair is kind of red.
While Shannon was running Saturday morning, the boys, my dad and I
went to Shipley's to get doughnuts.
With Granddaddy's help the boys and I went to visit Rachel and Jerrett before the shower. We also squeezed in a quick picture. Notice Rachel (pregnant) and I (Scott) are not holding the boys. Thanks Shannon and Jerrett.
The shower was a huge success and definitely worth the trip. Shannon had a great time serving a dear friend that has done so much.
We stopped by to check on the "old" house and to see "Retta". Loretta got both boys a prize and got to love on the boys for a few minutes. Thank you Loretta for working us in. Thank you also for taking care of Bailey and Lexi. The dogs seem to love being with Loretta.
The boys did great and were happy to be home in their beds after a long trip.
Thank you the most to Granddaddy for helping with the boys Saturday so Shannon could run and help with the shower!!
