Walt is 4 weeks old today!

Walt is 4 weeks old today! It's so hard to believe that this time 4 weeks ago we were welcoming a new sweet boy into our lives!

As of yesterday he weighs 9lbs 11oz

(We had to go to the doctor.....turns out our sweet precious angel had pink eye!....And as you can imagine, mommy almost flipped.....our sweet little FOUR WEEK OLD with pink eye??.....Apparently they see it quite often or at least that's what they said.....The nurse said it's probably from birth.....who knows?....but it's gone today!...thank goodness!)

Not only is Walt gaining but he is incredibly strong. Kid you not..our lil guy has been able to turn his head since we were in the hospital. His neck seems to be getting stronger too, because he can lift his head more controlled than before. We've also started a little bit of tummy time to help....

Walt and being swaddled have a love/hate relationship. He usually 'hates' (cries and resists) being swaddled (which is why mommy is not that great at swaddling tight....good thing daddy is;) ), but after he is all swaddled up, he'll usually relax....unless he wants his feet out or has a dirty diaper. And dirty diapers aren't very rare around here nowadays.....we feel like we're constantly changing them..... Our lil guy is doing much better during feedings....and usually feeds anywhere from every 2 1/2 hours to 4 hours....which is great, but exhausting! (especially on the nights he wants to stay awake after the 1-2 o'clock feedings until the next feeding.....)

Walt likes his pacifier......

He always has wild hair....that sticks up in the back.....which is adorable!

He still has his embilical cord....yes, pretty incredible....(and slightly gross) but we are putting tons of alcohol on it.....

And he absolutely LOVES being held.....

which is fine, because who could resist holding this lil guy??.....
